Firebird is a lively open fire restaurant and wine bar in the heart of Soho

The restaurant draws inspiration from the laid back, simple approach to cooking of the Mediterranean, serving a menu of grill based dishes alongside draft cocktails and a dynamic wine selection of wines from small producers across the continent.

The menu presents largely European dishes using ancient open-fire cooking techniques. Ingredients are slow smoking and charred, balancing acidity from the pickled and cured ingredients on the plate.
Firebird’s wine list champions small, natural and biodynamic producers from across Europe, who work their vineyards organically, with respect to nature and soil.

Bottles change frequently with juicy, vibrant and elegant varieties all being accounted for. In addition to wines, a carefully crafted cocktail menu inspired by the heat and smoke of the restaurant’s grill will transport guests to warmer climates with signature and seasonally changing mixed drinks.

Colour tones of honey and ash fill the space, terracotta floors will run throughout, stainless steel countertops with rattan chairs featured in the different dining spaces.

The 46 cover space is inspired by a modern Mediterranean mood, whilst shadows and reflections are used to recreate memories of afternoons spent in courtyards on the continent, underneath olive trees sharing in food and drink with friends.

The walls are exposed brick, with wooden beams positioned overhead entwined with foliage and greenery and floor to ceiling natural fabric, slatted wood will be used to warm the space.
